As expected the Katy Flatland was extremely hot. There were about 8 TeamOxy cyclists riding, several of which signed on for the 100 mile route. As with most of the riders we found the 100 mile route just too long with the heat and the humidity. Most stopped between 45 and 65 miles. Except for the heat it was a great ride. Good to be back together as a team. Next up will be the Mosquito Festival ride and then the Conquer the Coast ride in Corpus Christi which Oxy is sponsoring.

Preparation for many of us has begun for the Volvo Best Buddies Challenge-Hearst Castle ride in California this coming October.
