Well, the serious preparation for the 2006 BPMS150 has begun. There were probably 2000+ riders out this morning for the Frost Bike ride, fog and all. It was nice as far as temperatures go, but foggy for the first hour and a half. After the fog burned off it was beautiful. Longest route was 50, actually 56 miles, which I rode. Pretty easy ride, about two miles near the end of really rough road but rode with other TeamOxy riders and had a very good ride.

The fundraising is in full gear also. Now that I have my pedal partner, Jack Engle, it's time for the full court press so get ready to hear from me again. I met Jack at the kickoff event Friday night. We'll get his picture up here in the next few weeks so you can meet him. Jack's wife also rides in the MS150. This is her sixth ride! As noted on the website, our goal for the MS150 is to raise $20,000. Still a long way to go but with everyone's help, we can get there. Just sent this site url to everyone you know and let them know all they have to do is click on Donate Now. Thanks for all your support! Next weekend in the Big Chill ride and we raise the mileage from 56 to 62 miles.

Also, don't forget to drop by Alison's page for the Aids Lifecycle Ride. She's really putting the miles on and her donations are starting to come in. I hope you will also support her efforts. Aids research is critically important to the world today.
