Only two days to go and it's off to Austin! Weather is looking great, tail wind predicted for the whole weekend. Doesn't get much better than that. We're getting all of the team gear organized and ready for transport to La Grange and then on to Austin. The company has really stepped up the support this year for both the ride and employee cycling in general. And, the volunteers are terrific! Vickie Irvine, our new volunteer co-captain has just been incredible. If we can all just channel her energy and drive, we'll finish each day hours before we planned.

I'll do my best to update the blog as often as possible. I can update text from the Blackberry so there may be some entries from the road, well, the shoulder of the road. I'll also update from La Grange and Austin if circuits allow.

Our team had a short ride last weekend following our bike maintenance class. Lucky we had the class, we had three flats among us on the ride. Got a lot of practice changing them. Hopefully that will mean no flats this weekend! Overall it was a great ride though and I hope to see monthly or quarterly TeamOxy rides throughout the year with increasing ridership.
