Back in the swing of things in Houston. Love the humidity! I rode about 15 miles yesterday and a fast 25 today in The Woodlands. You may think I'm being sarcastic about the humidity but compared to the heat in Bakersfield I'll take the humidity any day. Having that breeze with moisture in it cools you much more than the blast furnace heat of California's Central Valley.

Tomorrow morning I'm riding the 20 mile Woodland's Cycling Club social ride with the Algras, Roxanne, Paul, Jeff and Davis, along with the other cycling club folks. Usually when I do this or other club rides I just ride from the house to Market Street, about 5 miles, make the ride and then ride home.

Next week it's back to charity rides and serious fund raising. I'll be at about $8,500 this week with the addition of part of the Bakersfield fund raising amount. Still leaves $16,500 before September!
