Haven't had a chance to ride this week but it's been a great week none the less. The publisher of the Northampton news was kind enough to run an article about my cycling for charity and listing this blog's url so people that might be inclined could donate.

On top of that I attended the Willowcreek Leadership Summit the end of the week and it really recharged my batteries when it comes to fundraising and supporting those in need. In listening to Richard Curtis, who has raised $1billion in the last 10 years for those in need throughout the world the one thing he focused on was that everyone has the means to help those in need. He said he has no problem asking those who he knows can help to support the causes that he does. We can all give so much and most of us give so little. At present I'm working to bring awareness to kids, primarily with intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, autism, etc., to bring them into situations where they are part of society, living and working on their own, with friends who treat them just like everyone else. I know everyone who reads this can help.

I will be back on the bike tonight, for the Midnight Bike Cruise, supporting the Montgomery County Food Bank. The ride takes place at midnight in The Woodlands. It's only 20 miles but it's for a great cause. Back on the streets of Northampton tomorrow morning.
